You seem like an understanding, thoughtful guy so I trust that you'll take this friendly criticism as it's intended and not as an angry rant or something. Once again, love your playing and have highly enjoyed this journey you've been on. 'Crazy Train' is the debut solo single by English heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne and was released in 1980 from his debut album as a solo artist, Blizzard of Ozz (1980). What you said is a small thing, but it all adds up, and you're talking to a wide audience here. Female players get treated differently all the time, and it discourages many of them from continuing on. These are overwhelmingly fellow musicians you're talking to, not a general audience at a bar gig. I do want to say that if I was one of those one in a hundred female viewers of your videos, I’d be put off by the idea that I wasn’t watching to learn something or to appreciate a well played solo, but instead only watched because you were an attractive older man. I always have just played that last run how I heard it and not note for note it’s cool to see it done right. You can check out the playlist if you want to get caught up.
#Crazy train songster plus
I'm through 91 solos plus 9 honorable mentions plus a couple of extras as well. If you're new to r/guitar I've been here for a while doing this. Thanks as always for the support and for sticking with me through this. Great classic solo here, as they all are at this point. Please stick around if that sounds like something that may interest you. So, even some heavy birds like to roost up high. Finally sat down the other night and checked this one off the list.Īs usual, after the solo I have about 8 or 9 minutes of commentary in which I discuss some of the recording techniques that RR employed as well as a few tales about the song Crazy Train in general and also a few words about some of the cruel nonsense brought about my Sharon Osbourne and her father Don Arden during this period of Ozzy's career. I have heavy breeds - Marans and Opringtons, and they all love to sleep as HIGH as possible - I have perches placed everywhere from 2' to 6' high and several of them use the rafters in the coop at about 7', while most of the others use the highest actual perches between 5' and 6'. Took a bit of a break from this list to work on something else that took up a lot of my time. Been a number of weeks but I'm back at it.

Hey all! Still here, still going with this massive project. 9 Randy Rhoads / Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train solo
